question about roxul insulation

Can it be used in the stove? I have insulation on the side rails of the summit, its falling apart and wanted to use roxul, its rated for 2150 degrees but not sure
 
I don't see why not. I just put some in my damper area for a softplate set up. It's touching the liner and I've had serveral burns with no problems. It's easy to work with as you can cut it to shape and it holds it's shape too.
