OH
we recently purchased this unit and have really been happy with how it works, but the surround unit with trim pieces won't stay together. With the heating and cooling that happens it usually pushes the side trim pieces off and there was no sort of clip that holds the side trim pieces to the top trim piece. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Matt

I am still looking for an answer. Anyboby else have issues with their surrond trim pieces staying together?

Thanks,
Matt

Ours came with a small corner piece to connect each side with the top. These slide into a track on the backside and has two screws to tighten and secure the pieces together. Hopefully these didn't get thrown away, as they are quite small. I would contact your dealer or Napoleon themselves.

The trim around the surround doesn't include any clips, other than the right-angle piece that holds the two sides to the horizontal piece. Sounds like the installer didn't know what he's doing and left that part out. Contact the dealer you bought it from and insist that they come out and install it.

Do you guys have photos of these clips or 90 degree pieces. Our trim has no such fasteners. No wnder it keeps coming apart.
