R-2 hearth

I'm planning to build a hearth with a 2 r value. Does anybody else have any suggestions? I'd like to stay as simple as possible. It'll be for a 13-nc with rear and side heat shield and a corner install. Tia

There are several threads on building hearths for this stove posted here. Most incorporate micore on the bottom layer to achieve the high R value requirement.
