We’ve been using a Ravelli RV100 that the previous owners of our house installed about 5 years ago and it is temperamental. Last year we got the 09 air flow meter code and the installers came and replaced that meter, and it worked OK for the rest of the season. This year we had it cleaned over the summer, and kept the external air flow closed off. Now when we started the stove up again we get the air flow meter error again, although the stove does continue to run, just beeping loudly every 10 minutes and eventually got the 08 depression alarm and the 15 auger triad as well. I pulled out the sensor and cleaned it with rubbing alcohol (it was not very dirty) and it still runs beeping every ten minutes but does not get the depression or auger codes, and some smoke seems to escape from the unit. Any suggestions for fixing the error code or explanations why the meter still isn’t working correctly? Or any of the other issues we are having?

Thanks!
Alex

The Ravelli airflow meter (debimeter in Italia) is a topic that has been discussed, examined and repaired on this site. If you replaced the component and the stove operates correctly for an extended period, then you most assuredly are experiencing faulty debimeters. Search this topic in the archives and focus on the threads with Pelleting In New Jersey and other experts.
