Regency CI2600 Recall?

hi. We are planning to get a ci2600. Plan to use it as supplemental heat for our 2,800sf house with high ceilings. We live in MA.

Our local dealer has none in stock. He said this model was recalled after complaints, and he wouldn't sell the floor model. Is this true - was the ci2600 recalled? This sales person didn't seem very knowledgeable to me, and I see nothing online about a recall.

There was a retrofit for the earliest models to reduce the air supply. Folks seemed happier with these units after this change was applied.

I see nothing online about a recall.

that is because there is no recall as far as I know. And I have several of them out that I have installed. I am pretty sure they would have told all of their dealers about it if there was.
