Regency f2400, just tile for hearth? No R-value?

I just want to double/triple check: For the floor protection part in the manual simply states it must be non combustible and extend 18" front and 8", back/sides.

So no need to build up a hearth, correct? Just a tile base will be sufficient?
 
Yes, you are correct. This stove requires ember protection only. A grouted tile base is fine.
