Hi, we already use an enerzone woodstove as a primary heat source during the winter. We'd like to add a wood cook stove and came across the Regina model, wondering if anyone has any experience with them? I haven't been able to dig up much in the way of reviews for this brand/model online. Manual describes the stove as Italian made. I think I would prefer something made in North America, but available for purchase in Canada. But I am keeping my options open. We are extremely happy with our enerzone and if they made a wood cook stove we would jump on that for sure.

So any opinions to regarding the Regina would be welcome reading. Thks in advance.

Looks like a nice stove. The oven is sort of small, but the firebox is huge.

The stove definitely fulfills my want for a more rustic-looking model. I am just hesitant to pull the trigger on a model without any user feedback (there is a few short customer testimonials on the website of the vendor here in Canada selling them, but I am reluctant to put too much stock in those).

The other red herring for me is that while the other 3 or 4 models I am considering are all out of stock with ~12-24 week lead times, this model is in stock. It has me asking why?

Do you know if Italy well known for manufacturing decent/good wood/cook stoves? I admit, while I love my wood stove and did my due diligence in choosing the enerzone we now own, I am not very clued in to what's what in the wood stove world.

Sorry, I don't know anything else about this stove. Italy has been making wood and pellet stoves for a long time. Some, however, are not made in Italy, but in Slovakia? I believe some of the Nordica line for instance is made by Sopka which is a good thing. They build some nice stoves. You might give Obidiah's a call. They know a lot about cookstoves.
