daughters zc has seen better days for safety sake want to replace it ,worth the hassle or start from scratch?

Feeling the Heat
We just had our old VC Winterwarm ZC replaced with a new ZC from Hearthstone. We needed a new liner installed and then basically swapped stove unit for stove unit.
*We did do a whole fireplace reno (esthetic purposes), so our project was a process. But if we were just swapping stoves out, it would have been much simpler.
