Firstly, hello! I’m a new to this forum so advanced apologies for any newbie faux pars!!

I have a cast iron fireplace which is currently losing a ridiculous amount of heat. Both the firebrick and the thin, rectangle panels that hold the firebrick in place have eroded. This has caused what’s left of the firebrick to slip down, creating a gap for heat to escape. I’ve sourced a replacement cast iron firebrick (link below), however can’t find anywhere online selling the replacement fittings.

I’d be really grateful for some advice / guidance from those in the know please! I plan on contacting our local fireplace supplier next week, however we’d prefer to avoid expensive repair costs and fix it ourselves if at all possible.

Huge thanks in advance for help and guidance.
