Resolute I-II add fire brick?

I understand these had sand in the bottom to insulate. I'm considering installing fire brick with furnace cement. Thoughts on that please?

Why?
 
I have a Resolute III. I don't put sand on the bottom just leave a nice bed of ashes and only clean down to the bottom at the end of the season.
