Central PA
As the title states I saw it with my own eyes. Unfortunatly I did not get the name on the side of the truck. I just saw bulk pellet fuel and that was all. My search came up empty calling around town. Does anyone know who is doing the bulk pellet delivery in the central PA area (Lancaster, Harrisburg).

Try (broken link removed)

Energex in Mifflintown.

It's $180 a ton plus $75 delivery charge (for me anyway), 3-5 ton.
Was the truck Red ??

Where do you store the pellets?

I guess you need to build a hopper accessible to the delivery truck.

Then, how do you move from the hopper?

I personally have not built my setup yet, but my plans are a(coal like) bin in my basement and using a vacuum setup to transport to the first floor.

Would love to have a pellet boiler in the basement along side and tied in with the oil boiler.

I would ditch the room stove and put in a small wood stove for when power goes out in winter.

But the cost of a pellet boiler is just to much.

I don't buy bulk so can't speak of prices or logistics.

I live a little north of the Harrisburg area, and I purchased my bulk pellets through Mifflintown hardware. They were Energex brand pellets, (red truck) On the early buy last may I paid $163 a ton plus $45 delivery. They have a great delivery system and no work on my part, and its cheaper.
