Here's a little of my score. We had a lot of trees taken down at work and they were free for the taking. Mostly red and white oak. There's an unidentified wood that I'll have to get a good pic of and see if someone can tell me what it is. Know it's not sweet gum because it splits easy. There's probably another 8 cords to get!

That is a great find indeed! Now you need to get those rounds split as soon as possible. Also remember that oak is a very slow drying wood. We give it 3 years after being split and stacked before it goes into the stove. Some do it in 2 years but we've found 3 works much better.
