I plan on sealing the vent pipe joints till venting reaches the outside of house. After venting gets to outside the house, is there any reason to have to seal the joints till it reaches the termination hood. My stove requires at least 6" of clearance from back of stove to rear wall. I will have a 18" horizontal run from back of stove thru wall to clean-out tee, outside of the house. From clean-out tee outside, I will be going up vertically with (4) 1 foot sections (4 feet), a 90 degree elbow, another 1 foot horizontal piece and then termination hood. Will I need to seal any of those vent pipe joints outside the house or will it be ok to leave those joints unsealed.

Should be fine once outside the home. Self bonding silicone tape is a great and neat way to wrap those joints.

Make sure you seal up around the pipe and thimble where they meet the house to keep moisture out.
