Seasoning burn on fireview - knob question

hi all, so we are getting ready to season our brand new fireview

Unfortunately Woodstock closed today so posting my 1st question here - how low is the knob for the catalytic bypass suppose to go down ours is barely moving down, from the picture looks like it should go a lot lower, anyone on here today have one ? Ours just slightly turns but definitely not a swinging down motion at all.

Did those guts come pre-installed in the stove? Any chance there is a block or something wedged inside to keep parts steady for shipping purposes?
