secondary tubes

I noticed that my secondary tube turn. there is hole to lock them but I didn't really think i matter till I read this:

Now the question is there a special hardware for these or could I just use some grade 8 bolts?

After comparing the angles on some different stoves I am thinking they should be adjustable. We get enough controls on a stove and we will need to take a class and get certified just to operate it.

Mine just has some stainless cotter pins, you don't have to wrap the ends around the pipe just spread them enough so they stay, makes getting them back out a lot easier.
