What's up fellas. Finally had the time to go pick up my insert today and get it in the house. Now I'm just waiting on the flue liner to show up and install this baby!

Sweet. Yer gonna luv'er. Anyhow...what kind of liner are you going with? You gonna do a block-off plate?

Nice new furniture. will you be needing a mantel shield?

Thanks guys. As for a block off plate, yes, I plan on installing one and I am ordering my liner from chimney liner depot today. I am planning on going with the smooth wall Flex King Pro liner and insulation kit as the chimney is on an outside wall. As for the mantel shield, I ordered that with the stove so I am hoping it does it's job!

Keep taking pics. It will look good in that nice setting.

Congrats you will be warm this winter!

I'm hoping!!! Last couple winters we froze our asses off trying to conserve oil. Still cost me almost $3k in fuel though. I figured even if it only cuts the bill in half yearly I will still pay it back in two seasons and at least I'll be warm.

Most significant others would not condone a wood stove in such a nice room and nice furniture - consider yourself very lucky.

Just a heads up:
1. Be careful with what looks like a bluestone hearth - it can get scratched and gouged during the install.
2. Ditto with the hard wood floors
3. Hearth extension seems minimal - expect burns, scratches dirt etc on the hard wood in front of stove.
4. Lost thought pattern ..... to be continued

I think you're gonna love the stove and you'll pay for that stove very quickly!
