Anyone know the shim Bolt size for the Osburn 1800 insert? They don't list the size in the manual or there part list. I need to lift the front of my insert by maybe an 1/8 of an inch because the blower isn't flush and I'm not getting good airflow.
How about putting a strip of 1/8" steel flat stock under the front?
I am wondering though how much difference 1/8" will make. That's not very much at all. The 1800 only has a 90cfm blower, so this may make no notable change.

Yeah you were right I ended up finding the right shim size. Osburn wont list the size but I went to the hardware store and 7/16 course thread fit perfect. I raised the front just enough to make the blower flush with the stove and it didn't make a noticeable difference.
