Shopping Used Inserts

Found a 3 year old Napoleon 1402 for sale, with a new liner and cap. Going to check it out tonight. Assuming it's in good shape, is it worth it, and what's a good price? We were supposed to get a brand new regency installed for about $6k a few months ago, but the dealer messed up and I canceled. I also found a Regency I2400, 13 years old, no cracks. $500. that one is a few hours away. I would expect that needs some refurbs.
I know Regency and Pacific Energy are a higher tier than Napoleon, but i'm more concerned about bang for the buck and it lasting.

That's a decent medium-sized stove. If it is in very good condition, inside and out, it's worth $1,000 to $1,200. Based on some old reports, I recall this stove liking a decent draft. Will the flue system be at least 16' tall?

No idea. 1200 is the value with liner?

I am not big on reinstalling a liner unless it is a heavy-duty one. Most light-duty liners get banged up with all the handling. $1000-1200 without the liner in very good condition. If you can get it for less, all the better.

If that is really only 3 years old it has lead a very hard life. Looks more like a 15 to 20 year old stove on the inside. And a cheap lightwall uninsulated liner kit. I wouldn't pay more than $800
