Hi, I have a Regency i2400 wood stove insert. I am happy with it save for the noise from the fan. It is in the room we hang out in at night and we find the noise a little excessive so I would like to slow the fan down while we are in the room. Has anyone done this to a Regency? Would a rheostat work or a switched resistor?
Thanks in advance for any advice,

one of these should work
(broken link removed to http://www.northlineexpress.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=5SA-4008)

I just bought and installed one on my insert, as my factory rheostat on my blower will no longer adjust, its like stuck on high or nothing, bought that one and now everything back to normal
