Hi all, we are preparing to install a 2006 Hampton HI 300 we bought used last year. It is in impeccable condition, however, in studying the manual I found online for it, that manual mentions a stainless steel smoke deflector that hangs across the top just inside the firebox door. My unit does not have this nor does it have the 2 bolts (and no bolt holes) inside the firebox that the deflector is said to hang from. I've determined the manual I got online looks to have been produced in 2012 so my unit is 6 yrs older than the manual I am using. Does anyone know if a 2006 HI 300 is supposed to have the smoke deflector? The manual says there are supposed to be 2 bolts in the top of he firebox for the deflector plate to hang from but they do not appear to exist for this unit so I'm thinking this detal was added after 2006?
