So fed up! Regency F2400 door keeps "opening".

Gasket replaced recently, passed the dollar bill test, all around. Door handle recently replace (old one broke), closes tight after starting up the stove. But then, about 20 minutes in (after shutting air down), the stove starts over firing. I can see tiny gaps between the door gasket and stove where the air in coming in! I'm terrified to touch the handle at this point because the one time I did, it seem to loosen even more.

I don't get it. Why is the door loosening when the stove gets up to temp? Could the glass be constricting when it's hot? Perhaps I need to replace the glass gasket?

Edit to add: When getting the fire going, I have been trying to shut it down early all the way and the fire will go out completely.

Last edit: I added washers to the door handle, when adding the rope. Could those washers be shrinking when the stove heats up?

The door on my nc30 loosens as it heats up. The nc30 latch, not sure about your regency, has a ramped latch so I can just shut it harder as it warms. Then in the morning after the stove cools, the latch is really tight!

The only issue I had with my f2400 was the screws for the glass retainer became loose (after 8 years) and it was drawing air around the glass gasket. The latch had to be adjusted/tightened about once a season. Are you sure you have the right replacement gasket?

Yes, straight from the dealer. And I stated, when I try to shut the stove down too early, the fire will go out...and the gasket passes the dollar bill test, all the way around.

Nope, but they WILL expand, probably opening the door a bit.
Take ONE out & see if that helps...

LATCH ADJUSTMENT
The door latch may require adjustment as the door gasket material compresses after a few fires. Removal of the spacer washer, shown in the diagram below, will allow the latch to be moved closer to the door frame, causing a tighter seal. Remove and replace the nuts, washer and spacer as shown.

Take the washers off to tighten.

I also had a thin nut (jam nut) on our Lopi Liberty that I replaced with a regular or thicker nut with more threads so I could tighten it even more after I took both washers off.

This nut is like the one I took off.
