The bearings went out of my fan last night, there are no dealers near me anymore, and online everything is $200 or more. Is there a cheaper option, or where can I get a bearing kit and how difficult is it to replace the bearings?

Thanks in advance

A quick application if electric motor oil on bearings might buy you some time.

There have been write ups on this forum about replacing the 608s bearings.

Or Google "St croix fan". Found one on ebay for $145.50 and free shipping.
