Well I finally got my Stihl 015 back from a local small engine repair guy
It had a bad oiler and I could not find one to put in.
This guy has shelves of saws that he takes parts off of (lucky guy).

How much oil should this use per tank of gas?

This saw is only for limbing and has a 12 inch bar on it

My other saw uses about 3/4 tank oil to a tank of gas

Obviously with a short bar it doesn't require as much oil as a long one. Not knowing the size of tank it would be difficult to quantify in tank percentages. The tell tale way is hold the tip of the bar over a log or piece of cardboard (or whatever) and rev it up. Does it sling a light oil line on your substrate? If so, you are probably good to go.

ok I will check that tonight
Thanks
