I have the opportunity to buy a used 028 for about $200. I was wondering if this is a decent deal and a decent chainsaw for felling smaller trees and cutting. I have an ms 250 and could use something with a little more oomph for larger logs. Thank you in advance for your comments.

that is the same combination I have. May be a bit on the high side for a 028, depends on what kind of shape it is in. Good combination.
I have one. it is my main saw. I use it for anything and everything. To me it is worth $200, but I don't know what the going rate is for a used one. suppose it really depends on the condition. I've seen people get ahold of them for $50 but they needed some work. i'd say $200 is about right for a nice one.schortie said:
