Not clinkers... Stink bugs!

My house has 3 separate chimneys- 1 for the 30 and 2 other fireplaces- we rarekly use the fireplaces and depend on the 30. Now that it's warming up the little feggers are coming out of both fireplaces. I haven't seen them in the 30 yet but I did last year.

First option seems to be to light a good fire in each flue. Trouble is it's like 70 out, so a good fire is at best undesirable, and difficult to get going.

Second option seems to be to open each damper, toss a Raid fogger in, close the damper, and leave. The voice in the back of my head is whispering, "bad idea" but I don't know why.

Anyone else having trouble with these guys? How did you get rid of them?

i hate stink bugs...and...you don't get rid of them. i have yet to find a solution that gets them gone. i was happy this year to rotate soybeans out for corn on the property...i forget the particulars...but the stink bugs lay eggs or something on soy bean plants....so when the soy is in they're worse.

very cool! stopping by the store after work!

Crap-ola. Just bought a case of Coke in cans. Gotta run back to trade for 2L bottles...
