finally got my woodstove hearth built and ready for stone. I planned on using stone veneer until I saw the price tag at my local Home Depot, it’s roughly 55sq feet to do the walls and front of the hearth. I plan on doing a slate of other thin stone for the hearth base. What are my options as far as fairly cheap? I like the look of the stone pictured but unless I can find it cheaper I’m open to other options
