The stove I have has a 8 " flue hole so I used 8 " I followed the 10,2 3 rule but I still get a back draft when I open both doors. I know 6" will create more draw . can I add a 6" section in the middle somewhere to get better draw
No, you will not get more draw with a 6" than with an 8".
Not sure what you mean about opening both doors. Perhaps a double door on the front?
Best thing you can do is to open the draft fully and wait about a minute before then opening the firebox door and open it slowly. Also, quite naturally, the chimney should be checked to see if it might be partially blocked. Good luck.
