Hi Folks -

I'm planning to finish the install on my PE Vista this weekend. All that's left is the inside stove pipe. Running DuraBlack: Two foot piece from support box, then telescoping piece down to the unit. On Northline's installation video, they show the use of a DuraVent Stove Top Adapter. Seems like I could just crimp the telescoping piece and accomplish the same thing. Anyone know if that little adapter is necessary?

Thanks,
D

the duravent may fit w/o any adapter or crimping.
but, if not....
crimping the dura black never works as cleanly as the adapter

we bring the adapter on every job and use it about 3/4 of the time

Crimping the double wall will also void its ul listing and warantee.
