I have a Quadra fire 4300 stove this is my first season with stove basement install with 4 ft of single wall pipe with one elbow connecting to about 21 ft of class A chimney straight up. My pipe thermometer is reading approximately 400 degrees and stove temp about 400-420 degrees with what seems like a pretty strong fire. (Refer to attached pics). I think my IR gun is pretty close to being accurate. I read a lot on here about 600+ degree stove top temps on this forum and wondering shouldn’t I be getting similar readings?? Also the blower was on medium when temp measured. I tried with blower off but temps weren’t much different. Thanks in advance for any advice
