Question:

Hi-I hope you can help me out- or point me in the right direction. I have a Surdiac Coal Stove (Model Gotha 513D or 713D- I'm not sure which one)that came with the house I bought. It hasn't been used in many years and looks to be in good condition. I am looking to sell it and do not know what it could sell for. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer:

These stoves are very old (over 20 years)- and are very picky about the coal- chimney and operator. We had folks GIVING them to our former retail shop if we'd haul it away- but if you find someone that knows what it is- it's worth up to $300 or so. Parts are available from Woodman Associates at the parts link below
