Cool Diane, relax and enjoy with your little buddy...

Strange but certainly not unheard of. Just enjoy the heat Diane. Don't let the dog have all the enjoyment.

We had a strange night two nights ago. 63 inside and 63 outside. I started a fire in the big cleaned empty firebox and was happy to not overheat the place and also that smoke went up the chimney at least as well as it does when temps are much colder outside.

I've been running the Fireview the last 3 nights here,, finally stopped raining,, ground is so saturated that an underground spring I have that normally stays dry is perking up out of the ground.... Going down to 47 here tonight.. Plus it puts my dogs and cat into a nice sleep. They love the stove heat..

Fired up the PE the past couple of nights for the same reason. When I came home for lunch, the 13 was cranking.

Murphy was in his usual spot, dead on center.

We've had strange weather in California, too. Last week it went from a high of 100 degrees to 65 degrees just 3 days later. I have no AC so I went from trying to cool the house down from 89 to closing it up to conserve the heat. I didn't light the stove but the lows were in the mid 40s before it warmed back up again.

Such odd weather , could it be called Government made weather? !!!

They indeed has a record low of 15 but it was not last week. News stated it was a few weeks ago but were not specific. I also had read that the high was 94 so there may have been more than one report.

You're probably correct. I was going by memory which is not as reliable as it used to be!
