Hi everybody,

I'm installing about 25 ft of rise of duratech and it's inside a chase that's already been studded with metal studs.

What's the right fastener to use? I'd really rather not get in there and replace the metal studs with wood.

Thanks!

It might help to move this to a different room.

A better description of what you're doing and maybe some photos might get better response.

Solved:

Proper bracing of metal studs is primarily for twist. Inserting ¾" plywood panels tight between the studs at long lengths and plenty of metal screws did the trick!

Glad you figured it out.
