Curious as to whether or not these are any good. This is my second heating season with my Englander 25 PDV and I'm looking for a quality pellet. I burned a ton of Curran hard/soft mix and 3 tons of green supreme that I picked up for a huge discount from a family member who no longer needed them. I wasn't impressed by the green supreme and the curran seemed to have an off odor. I live 5 minutes from the telescope mill and I would love to support a local business but I want to know that I'm getting a quality product. I picked up a couple bags to try but if anyone has any info please let me know. Thanks!

Scuttlebutt has it that the Telescope pellets are low quality.
The furniture they manufacture & sell, however is some of the best stuff on the market.

Where did you get your info? I can't find anything online about these pellets? I burned some last night and they are by far the cleanest pellet I have burned

I burned 2 ton last year. They were on par with lignetics. My only compliant was the bag seams were not great and a few opened when handling. Great service from the plant. Let me know of you have any other qs.

I live near the plant also and have heard mixed reviews. Some rave about them, others not so much.

I think, like a lot of pellets, it depends on your stove.

No brainer. If I lived next door I would buy from them for sure. Still $250?

Thru the owner of the hearth shop I used to work at. He sells their furniture & I'm sure he's tried them out.
Maybe he got a bad batch. He burns Harmans on his showroom floor, so the stove isn't the problem...

I've never tried them mainly because they don't deliver, or at least they didn't the last time I looked into them.
