I have been running my new insert these past couple of weeks and noticed the wood trim around my fireplace (above) is getting pretty warm. I have met the required clearences to combustibles, but its getting quite warm. My IR gun says its around 150. Is that any cause for concern? I would think it would take a lot more than that to become a concern right?

150 shouldn't be a concern. Water doesn't boil until 212 & if your wood doesn't
reach that temperature, the water won't boil out of it & it won't burn.
