After scouring the reviews and comments here we got ourselves a Jotul Castine. Great for our small, well-insulated home. A bunch of folks even helped almost instantaneously when I was trying to operate the stove for the first few burns. Thanks to everyone's advice it is running like a champ and I now do my wood a little differently than I had last season. All is warm and comfortable in here and your advice was elemental to it.

Thanks Hearthers!

Thanks for the pic. Beautiful room and that stove looks like it was born to be there.

Looks nice Chris, I like the pup has the primo spot reserved.

Looks great Chris! Congratulations on the new stove.

I think the pup's "disposition" says it all. Very nice...

Flue?

That is some sort of sweetness right there. You picked a stove that only improves on everything. Very nice.

That's a classic shot. Looks like a warm friendship is developing.

Great pic and stove. I have the same stove only the older 2 door model 12 years old now. Haven't had to replace anything so far. Don't be afraid to run it hard. I like to get 500-650 degrees on each load

Yeah, it actually looks like a shot that the stove manufacturer would use in it's advertising
