I had been looking for a stove to put in my basement. I ended up picking (out to someones garbage) a BV4000. It had been used as an insert accordingly. I would like to know if it would be ok to use it as a free standing? I can have a base made for it. It even has the catalytic converter still in it. It has 7/1992 as a date code.
