We started the pellet stove and it ran fine at first but then fan went on and off a few times and then stopped. It seems to run great at first. The fan worked great and it was pumping out heat. We shut it down and now it won't start and the fan does not blow. This is our first time using the pellet stove.

Any suggestions?

If the stoves vacuum switch fails to be closed by the combustion fan the stove will not run. If I remember right the motors are 12 volt brush type and sometimes the brushes can hang up or they are worn. I would start by giving the motor a few firm raps with a wood hammer handle or the like to possibly get the brushes to reset on to the armature. They have rebuild kits or you might have it done by a electric motor shop.
Welcome and good luck

Thank you for responding. We have shut the stove off, unplugged it and will try to restart in the morning. We will try to get the brushes to reset and let you know.

Welcome to the forum ... manual in case you don't have one (broken link removed) Troubleshooting section on 38

There is no vacuum switch on this stove. If the combustion motor is surging, in other words the fan speed is going up and down, it needs new brushes at least. Unfortunately the motor is located in the bottom of the stove with a plastic fan blade and a plastic guard both on the outside of it. So the only way to tap the motor is to lay the stove on its side and remove the blade guard, then you can get a tool in between the blades to tap on the motor.

Thanks, We are currently looking at how to get at the bottom of the stove as it is installed and don't want to disrupt it. Can someone tell us where the fuse is located so we can check that? The manual shows 2 fuses, a board fuse and a heater fuse.

Are the 2 fuses in a panel box? We took off the whole back panel but see nothing. There is another smaller panel back that we are taking off.

Took back panel off and tapped motor and blower seems to be working fine but the relay switch that switches it from high to low seems to be stuck. Any suggestions. Looking at fuses in bottom of stove.

The fuses are in the bottom of the stove directly below the switch panel, right by where the electric cord goes into the panel
