I am putting together a system and was told by a wholesaler that the Danfoss valve is no longer available. Anybody know why and if the Termovar is a suitable replacement? thanks

I should have been more clear. I know you can still buy them but am a little concerned as to why they may have stopped making them. All I have learned on here indicate they are a good product.

I didn't ask the wholesaler- their expertise is not at all in gassers. They are having to order many of the items we need that are more specialized to wood gassers.

Yes, Termovar/LK Acaso is a suitable replacement. LK823 kit is probably what you are after if you don't want a loading unit: (broken link removed to http://woodboilers.com/boilers-heating-supplies/heating-supplies/thermostatic-valves.html?p=1) Sorry for the shameless plug.
