Well, if it works....
We used to back into snow banks when our license plates were overdue. Cover them with snow and no problems......hopefully. I suppose mud would do the same thing.

Most of the stuff they mention happens in a lot of states. But they missed out on a some of the real strangeness of FL. Things like flesh eating men, huge, croc-eating, Burmese pythons, Koran burning fanatics, giant cockroaches that you could probably ride on, bodies poured into bikinis and spedos that nature never meant to have exposed, etc.. The heat, jungle critters, odd human mix and very lax laws make this a crazy state for sure.
