Total investment would be about $1,200 dollars. I will freely admit my novicity and undue optimism - so i would appreciate any dose of reality you can apply. That stove does say it can be installed in a Zero clearance unit (I think that's what you have), if it meets all the criteria in the owners manual.

Had one in my house for 3 heating seasons, They must have change the insert. It has a 2.0 cf firebox now. Maybe its OK, mine was to small at 1.3cf
