Thinking about capping/sealing pipe for the summer (bird/moisture defense!)

Stainless double wall from Menards. Anybody know if they offer a cap to seal this off? After the morning rodeo in my living room yesterday, I think I might cap off my pipe for the summer. Between the bird in the pipe, 2 dogs going crazy and my wife adding in her advice on how to get the bird out of the house I think capping it off sounds like a good idea! By the time I got the poor bugger out of the house it looked like he may have done my spring sweep for me. Any advice?

You are not alone with this problem ... just make sure you leave yourself a not on the stove to remove cap before using. There are some caps that have a finer spacing that may eliminate visitors like this. Damp rid in the stove box might be helpful too!
