Thoughts on shutting down oiler for summer???

After having a professional cleaning, what are your thoughts on shutting down an oil boiler for the summer? I have heard there could be condensation issues, but a heating and plumbing specialist I talked to said I would be fine.

Just guessing, but I would think the same general ideas would apply that we mention w/ wood boilers... Spray the inside w/ a preservative oil, seal them up, possibly put in a light bulb or other low temp heating element to keep the boiler interior above condensation temperature, should be no big deal...

That is what I did with the pellet boiler. When I have it cleaned (oil boiler) I will have to check to see where I access the 'inards'.
