Yesterday I went to look at stoves. I was pretty much hung up on the looks of the Thelin as well as a few that Enviro has. Also I wanted a multi burn stove but ended up with a Breakwell P23.

I live in a modular home. ( Doublewide) Sqft is 1,500. The dealer I purchased this from said she give me a good deal. She had this stove in her inventory and offered it to me for $1,800. It has the gold trim on the door as well as the handle. Breckwell came out with a replacement motor for the fan which will be replaced in this model before they install.

I am so excited I can hardly wait for the installation. I also got 2 ton of pellets off them for $170.00. Hearth pad is a corner pad which she sold to me for $300.00. (40x40)

Does anyone on here own one of these stoves? What do you think of the performace? Appreciate any remarks on this stove. Good or bad.

What do you think of the prices I was given? The dealer has over 30 years experience and the installer has 26 yrs experience.

Is there anyone on here that has a stove in a modular home single or double wide? Was wondering if the stove heats well enough to keep the pipes from freezing?

Thanks, Marster

BUMP

Doesnt anyone have one of these stoves? Any comments at all? I cant seem to find much on the internet except what i was given from the dealer.

Any remarks will be most appreicated.

Hi Marster, I have a p23 and this will be my 4th season using it as my primary heat source. I like the stove. The only problems that I have had were with the blowers. (LOTS OF BLOWER MOTORS). It appears that breckwell has finally solved these problems (I hope). Other that, no complaints. $1800 sounds about right.
I live in a 1200sqft converted cottage with little insulation and I keep it quite warm. I use a small jotul 602 as backup only when it gets below zero. keep it clean and good luck.

I just bought a P2700FS. I got it for $1599 + $127 shipping. from RuralKing.com which is one of only 2 authorized Breckwell dealers that does mail oder. The stove came damaged in shipping. I decided to take it anways if they agreed to have the damaged parts replaced which they did and quite quickly. In fact, when they couldn't get the door fast enough from Breckwell, they took a new door off another unit and overnighted it to me so I could get up and running.

Now I just looked at their website and the price has dropped to $1359. The P23 is only $1100. Those seem like crazy low prices to me.

How did everybody get a hold of Breckwell So fast??? it took them two weeks before they got back to me and my stove was down in the coldest week of winter.

Thanks for the reply. That was the only thing I could find about this stove was the blower (s) issues. The dealer did give me the replacement blower Breckwell came out with. Hopefully this will take care of the issue. Just had the stove installed yesterday. I am in love! Now, just waiting for the terrible new stove smell to burn off.

I knew of this site and couldnt believe either the low prices. I could not find anyone to do the install if I would have bought there plus my insurance company highly recommended a certified person do the install in the event there would ever be a fire.

I talked to the dealer about Rural King prices. She said she has no idea how Breakwell can offer their stoves to them at such low cost. She said she cant even get them for that price?????

Glad to hear Breackwell gave you such fast service.

I suspect it's volume related as they have a chain of 38 stores. Rick at Breckwell said Rural King is the largest customer.
