Just traded 10 bags of my Barefoot for 10 bags of Country Boy White Lightning. I plan on keeping all the settings the same to compare the heat output. The place that I buy from sells both, so this will help me decide what to go with next time.
Trying different brands is always a good thing ... just remember batch to batch may not always be consistent. One pallet of my LaCretes seems to be harbouring some pretty long pellets compared to the other previous ones. YMMV
...and lots of ash!!

So far here is what I got. First I weighed the bags, Country Boy 39.6 lbs, Barefoot 40.6 lbs, getting 1 lb more in every bag of Barefoot. that will add up over the coarse of the Winter!
I checked 8 out of the 10 bags, all are 39.6 lbs. I did not check the first 2 That I dumped in.
Their website says they would love to hear from the customers I'm debating on whether to send them an email stating that the bags I checked were 39.6 lbs to see what they would say.
Weighed pellets I have - LaCretes slightly under 40; SureFire slightly over. Just got some Okanagan Platinums but haven't weighed them yet...First I weighed the bags, Country Boy 39.6 lbs, Barefoot 40.6 lbs
