A Kamloops woman was killed by a tree while getting firewood with her husband, she died at the scene. RCMP accompanied her husband home to tell the two children, be careful out there. I tried to post the news article , wouldn't let me copyright I guess. .
 
Horrible. I can't imagine. As a topic for discussion, though, this is the first female I've heard of being injured (mortally so, in her case) while felling. I wonder if she was familiar with the process or if this was a unique situation where she was along when generally she would not be.
