[Hearth.com] Tried to make my wife's job a little easier

She said it just happened so fast! Lol

I'm looking at it funny, is it supposed to look like that?

I've got a splitter that looks just like that.

Except for the pieces shaped like bananas.

That picture is going to flash in my head now every time I use it. I've brought the thing to a stop a few times trying to split something that was just a bit too tough - I'll likely let up on the button a bit earlier now than I used to.

Wouldn't have expected something quite like that to happen though - holy.

I always wondered how well those small electric splitters work…guess I can stop wondering. Sorry about your spouse's bad luck huff.

Scratching my head. Did the pusher come off the other end?

she'll be looking for an upgrade now!

Oh so you mean that is not for those crooked rounds? Sometimes there are just some that you need a banana shaped splitter for :p

If by "easier" you mean giving her something other than her maul or ax.... Sounds like you got a good woman there. :)

Oh.. and she got that log on there too!! Yep.... she's a keeper.

No pusher is still on. took some effort to get the round of wood out .
The "pull" rod on the left side had to become disconnected in order for this to happen, No?

I real liked the splitter though, you could stand up while splitting . was going to try and set up some sort of foot pedal on it. didn't like that your hands had to be on

Yes , the pull rod snapped off at the weld connecting it to the splitting end bracket. must have been made in China.

haha . Actually a kind of lied, she was making my life easier. But she would never use an axe though. she will go buy kindling if I don't leave her enough.

Get her off the steroids before she breaks the pusher off the splitter and beats you over the head with it.
