Checked the TSC website and my local stores come up at 3.99 a bag.

TSC here too at $399 a bag, bought some North American blends, never burned them before. They are probably just starting to get into the auger now. I'll know by morning how they behave. Tomorrow we run errands then I really should clean the stove.

My closest store has the blue and white bags which are supposedly ligneticts

TSC's around here all have junky Wood Fiber Energy. Maybe I'll consider it when it is June and they are $99 bucks a ton. Has ANYONE had any decent luck with the brand I mentioned. Everything I have heard or read has been less than sub par about this brand. Horrible reviews is what I have seen. In fact, not one good review or opinion of them.

I am all ears here or should I say eyes?

From what I can tell of the over night burn the North American Blend pellets burn fine in the P61, a little more heat and a little less ash than GS. But some GS were still in the hopper so it's not a true test just yet. The next bag in should clear the GS of the stove all together, I'm running the hopper extra low today before I fill again.

North American pellets are awful I bought them at the beginning of the season, the white bags with blue writing are 100x better
Burning pretty good in my P61 on day 3. Nice heat anyway, if a bit ashy.

Will never burn the cheap stuff again. Too much work cleaning the stove. Will pay the premium for the good stuff and let the box store crap rot on their shelves.

picked up some Barefoots at my dealers for 4.99 bag yesterday...
surprised that they come in a thin flimsy bag...

Tractor Supply has MWP's in Belchertown, Ma. $3.99

I was at tsc today - took a look at the pellets and said forget it. lots of water damage. mostly greene supremes. the tons were opened and went-through. I would have picked some up if they had some brand i've never tried before but not worth it.

Yup, I had to sift through quite a few bags before finding 10 good ones to try out. Took longer to pick them out than to load them in my car. I got to say though, the pellets look great, nice and short and burn hot so going back for more tomorrow and I'll be set for next winter.

I got two partially damaged bags out of ten bags. About a 1/4 to 1/3 bag of sawdust after they broke down. TSC have a lot of trouble there. Lowes were in better shape.
