TSP Solution as Creosote Remover?

Hello All-

This seems too simple to be true. Any thoughts or experiences about a spray on liquid concentration of TSP to help keep glaze creosote in check?

I have an older Tarm and it is a glaze making machine. Keeping the creosote in check is quite the challenge. The commercial solutions are getting pricy.... :)
