Sorry to stray, but I have some reel-to-reel I want to digitize and have had little luck. The reels are audio letters from my dad to my mom during the Vietnam war. Dad's been gone 20 years and it would be cool to get these reels digitized so my sister and I can listen to Pops.

thats cool! and priceless, hopefully Bg can hook you up , being the serious student of military history , i would hate to see somthing that precious lost. good luck in your endeavor to preserve your recordings.
