I have a US pellet stove 5710. It's burning all the pellets but it's going through a half a bag in 8 hours. And it's supposed to be using a half a bag and 12 to 14 hours. I have no idea how to change the pellet feed settings.

Its in the manual on pg 12. The advertised consumption of pellets are not exact. And is probably the rate for its lowest heat setting. Turn down the rate, use less pellets. Use less pellets you get less heat from unit. Chose you comfortable heat setting and that will the rate of pellet usage. Brand and batch of pellets can make a difference also.
